Born in Naleczow, 1977.
Lives and works in Krakow, Poland.
He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, received an artistic scholarship from the Ministry of Art and Culture. Co-founder and curator of Cellar Gallery.
Kmieć has exhibited at institutions including Polish Cultural Institute (London), Open Studio (Krakow), Zderzak Gallery (Krakow), Stalowa Gallery (Warsaw), Krakauer Haus (Nuremberg), BWA (Bielsko-Biala), WTC Art Gallery (Rotterdam), Art Fabrik Gallery (Wuppertal), Letnia Gallery (Kazimierz Dolny), Gallery on the Vistula (Torun).
This year he has also taken part in Suitcase / Showcase project in Boston.
