TOMASZ GÓRNICKI
Born in 1986.
He graduated with honors from the Sculpture Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2010) in Janusz Antoni Pastwa’s studio. Young artist, whose interests revolve around realism. He uses the language of symbols, mainly religious, philosophical and psychological ones.
Górnicki works with monumental scale as well as a small form. He experiments with combining different materials like bronze, stone, aluminum, cloth. He explores the qualities of color and moves 2D graphics to 3D world.
Around his exhibitions are Polish Olympic Center (Warsaw), SOHO Factory (Warsaw), ZPAP (Warsaw), MiTo Gallery (Warsaw), Gallery Bakari (Reykjavik), Polish Center of Sculpture (CRP Oronsko).
